Science Olympiad T-shirts & Sweatshirts with this year’s custom logo!  Teams can now order online at our web store!  These are now available to ALL TEAMS regardless of whether or not you qualify for the State Tournament.  Here is what you need to know:

Order by going to our web store located here!

  • Teams advancing to State:
    • can order online and select to pick-up on-site (must order by March 9 for this option) at tournament registration (no extra fee) be sure to put your team number and school name in the address section so we can easily sort orders and have them ready at registration;
    • can order online and have them shipped direct to you (shipping costs added);
    • can wait until you arrive and order at the kiosk located in Mellencamp Pavilion.
  • Teams NOT advancing to State:
    • must order online and have them shipped direct to you (shipping costs added).

Tower Building Special Awards given at the 2017 Indiana Science Olympiad State Tournament in honor and memory of Thomas Sayrs, 16 year veteran supervisor for the balsa wood events.  Cash awards were given to the schools placing 1st and 2nd in each division.  Winning Schools:

  • $150 Award to Bishop Dwenger High School, 1st place Division C
  • $100 Award to Northridge High School, 2nd place Division C
  • $150 Award to Northridge Middle School, 1st place Division B
  • $100 Award to Ben Franklin Middle School, 2nd place Division B

The SallieMae Science Olympiad Scholarship for IU Bloomington is intended to reward high achieving Indiana Science Olympiad students and to encourage them to continue their involvement in Science Olympiad at Indiana University.  The first recipients of these $1,000 awards were announced at the 2017 Indiana Science Olympiad State Tournament and they are:

  • Esmeralda Acevedo, Hammond Academy of Science & Technology
  • Sophia Ren, Bloomington High School South
  • Cindy Lee, Carmel High School
  • Aman Patel, Northridge High School
